I’m an organic poultry farmer with an electricity usage of around 80,000Kw per annum. With the high cost of electricity now it’s almost pointless carrying on farming.

Southeast Solar came to view the farm and our buildings to see if they would be suitable for solar panels. Fortunately they were! They talked us through the process, offering detailed plans and future sunlight yields which was appreciated as we knew nothing about how solar power works.

Our installation was a big one. We needed 160 panels and X2 inverters - however with the detailed planning Southeast Solar provided we expect to regain our investment in hopefully sub three years! The installation itself took only 2 days and all the engineers were clean and efficient.

The system is now up and running and thus far working amazingly well. This has now gave us hope as a 27 year old family business to carry on farming.
